Our People
We have a team of motivated professionals whose top priority is to provide you the best service possible.
Lyle Brundige is the Vice President and General Manager of Monadnock Landclearing and Chipping, Inc. Along with managing the day to day operations of the crews, he is our main contact with the NH & Mass. Foresters with whom we do a large portion of our business. Lyle is Hermel's step-son and started working part time for the company when he was in high school. He spent six years in the Marine Corp, including active duty in Desert Storm, and has been back with us since 1992. Lyle and his wife, Jen, live in Greenville and have four children, Joshua, Stephanie, Jason and Samantha. He is a Certified Logger in N.H. and Licensed Logger in Massachusetts and is diligent in keeping up on the latest training and laws of the logging industry.
OFFICE STAFF
Beverly Doherty is our Office Administrator and Bookkeeper. She joined the company in 2004 with an extensive background in bookkeeping and office management.
Stephanie Brundige is Lyle's daughter, who helps out with the payroll and other projects while she attends Fitchburg State University.
EQUIPMENT OPERATORS
Jeffrie Durgin has been running our skidders since 2002. He lives with his wife Maureen in Bennington, NH and has two sons, Chad and Travis. Jeff helps train any new skidder operators and is a reliable and valuable member of the MLC team.
Forrest Chauncey joined us in 2004 to run the Chipper and Slasher. He lives in Bennington, NH with Bethany and their son Owen. Forrest grew up on the Chauncey Farm which gave him experience in machinery which has proven itself to be a great asset in the logging business.
Kenneth Spacht lives in Mason, NH and joined us in 2008 to drive the skidder. He has since learned to run the Feller Buncher and we are utilizing his many talents to the fullest.
OUR DRIVERS
Nick Best has driven tractor trailers for the company since 1996. He lives in Franconia, NH with his wife Lisa, and their two sons, Tyler and Brian. Nick helps with scheduling and is in charge of knowing who is where, when and why. He is also a great help to the office staff by keeping us in on the “trucking pipeline.”
Paul Barlow joined us in 2005 with a total of 22 years driving experience. He lives in Milford, NH and has two sons, Mitchell and Brenden. Paul has become a reliable member of the MLC family since 2005.
Patrick McNamara joined the company in July 2011. He started his driving career in 2007 doing mostly long haul driving. He now lives in Concord, NH. We are happy to welcome Pat to the company.
LOG PROCUREMENT
Blaine Culler joined the company in October 2011 as our Log Procurement & Buying Manager. He has been in the wood business for 20 years with experience including log buyer & running log yards for others, along with owning his own company Red Mountain Trucking out of Vermont. Blaine has two children. His daughter Courtney is currently working towards her Masters in Business Administration. His son Ben, who is 18, will graduate from High School in 2012 and is looking forward to joining the military. Blaine is a welcome addition to the Monadnock Landclearing family.
