New Hampshire Timber Harvesting Council
The NHTHC is a growing organization of loggers,
forest product truckers and members of forest
industry dedicated to promoting the interests of
the state's 1,400 loggers and truckers. It is a
joint program of the New Hampshire Timberland
Owners Assoc, the University of New Hampshire-
Thompson School of Applied Sciences and the
University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension.
The Council's mission is to promote logging
professionalism by encouraging safe, productive
and responsible timber harvesting and trucking
through education, information exchange and
cooperative partnerships.

Founded in 1911, the NHTOA is a non-profit
organization of forest landowners, foresters,
loggers and wood-using industries, dedicated to
the promotion of good forestry and a healthy
forest products industry.
