December 2008 Ice Storm

December’s ice storm caused significant damage and created many hazards throughout our forests and along our roads and trails. We are offering our services to local towns and communities with its December Storm cleanup.

Monadnock Landclearing & Chipping, Inc. uses mechanized logging, which is a safer, faster and cleaner way to remove trees in comparison to the use of chain saws. All of our forestry equipment is outfitted with (FOPS) Falling Object Protection Systems. This type of logging is best applied to rural properties, such as Rail Trials, Parks and Class 6 Roads. All of our employees are required to be OSHA 10 Certified, attend logging certification classes, and follow a strict adherence to the Timber Harvesting Rules through the New Hampshire Timber Harvesting Council. These classes are geared toward logging safety on the job site. We are licensed Timber Harvesters in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and all loggers and drivers complete their First Aid and CPR courses every two years.
